Oh Gerry,
you may be interested to know that I have upgraded the Share URL option with a post/page level over-ride.
If you want to use this, just go into a page or post. If you then add a custom field called “image_src” and then put in the value field the URL of the share image you want.
It's in release 1.18.6 going out today...
Regards, Andy

 Hey thanks for this...
I was trawling through looking at who's saying what about the plugin and found this.
I'll fix it in a release very soon.
Also the plugin does not only do Gravatar, but also does a choice of user defined images for different styles of wordpress page (post/page/homepage/archive).
So for example on the homepage when there is more than 1 author, you can have a site logo, default gravatar image or a predefined separate image that just relates to the home page.
I might look at adding a separate image set up for categories also, but have not thought about the logic for it yet.
All the best, Andy
Ann, I'm quite certain that this will not directly influence the reputation of the entire Nation; for the most part, anti-American marchers are no better than the other side. Paint them whatever colour you like, the extremist will always shine through. Morons and trigger-happy bastards, you will find them in every army and everywhere else in the world. I would assume the majority of people to be better than this.
I agree that the DoD should address this outrage properly. Yet, how? Demanding some extra budget to enhance preparations, they would have to stand some hard rain, politically. Demanding the heads of the responsible staff (which was appropriate), would drop military motivation even further.
The greatest duress for a soldier, well trained or not, is the lack of clear decisions (and rules) coming from home base. What we had to witness in this movie is not necessarily inhumanity. It's more likely a mix of individual helplessness, a general loss of ethics, and an incredible lack of straight ruling. Nevertheless, I stand by my earlier words: there was no clearly identified enemy to engage, this was cold-blooded murder.

I just forced myself to watch the video...
I really didn't want to watch people die...
But after viewing the massacre, I noted:
Arrogance (on the part of the personnel engaging innocent bystanders), lies (to defend actions after it became clear that civilians were the "insurgents"), and video tape (proving that these soldiers made a grave mistake).

 I couldn't agree more.
The despicable actions of a few always end up having extremely negative implications for the rest of us. It shouldn't surprise us that the US is despise by many. And now, even more will join the anti-American movement, if the perpetrators of these heinous crimes are not publicly brought to justice military style!
On the flip side, what prompted these rogue soldiers to act so inhumanely and dishonorably? Perhaps the Department of the Defense should spend a little more money on better training and psychological assessment and support to prevent this type of out-of-control / renegade lashing out. Without at all wanting to condone the actions of these soldiers, war is no picnic and ground troops are under constant great duress.
